Missouri Barns
John C. McCornack
Barns have Style
Barns are so wonderful to
visit
Some are standing all alone
Barns are home for little
creatures
For Cats and kittens of
course
Styles of barns are so different
But as years went by they
changed

Country Church
There's a place dear to me...and it's in my
memory
Every Sunday morning... you could find us
there
When the choir was through...the tithes were
then received
Keep the ten commandments ...in our hearts
each day
Still today, that chuch stands...as a beacon
on that hill

The World of Mom:
My mom taught me
Keep your ear
Forgotten Barn
Somethings can be remembered
Like the times on Grandpa's farm
For when I go to see it
The door to the hayloft
That barn is not forgotten

Red Roof
The Road
While driving on a cloudy morn, I came to
a road I know
Oh, take me back in time, let me see the summer
time
On the road there is the home where my mom
and daddy lived
Farther down this road there is, the barn
where things are stored
Yes, this road remains the same, as it did
when in my youth
Oh, take
me back in time, let me see the summer time
